In the Studio: Mask On Edition

In an effort to do our part in aiding those who need it most, I partnered with Kanvas Art Group for their series Inside the Studio: Mask On Edition. With control of their social media profiles, I took viewers behind-the-scenes with me as I shared my diverse works as well as current endeavors, emptying my fabric drawers for a good cause.

With this campaign, we geared our efforts in support of The Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN, creating fabric masks as they prepared for further waves of COVID-19.

While fabric masks are not to be used in the care of COVID-19 patients, according to the CDC, fabric masks are a crisis response option when other supplies have been exhausted.

Making masks is my way of helping when I feel helpless, and cleaning out my fabric collection when I’ve cleaned out everything else is my way of saying ‘thank you’ to all the nurses and doctors out there.
