Primarily working with Digital and Film Photography, Erin Teixera has long been interested in the arts from a young age, really diving into photography after her first film course in college. “ I fell in love with the process of creating imagery and the possibilities of pushing the boundaries of photography.”

Erin continues, “I want to create work that is engaging, thought provoking, beautiful, complex, and intrigues a viewer beyond a two dimensional snap shot. My photography involves layers of physical manipulation—as opposed to digitally Photoshopping the effects. I alter my digital photographs after they are printed by means of physical or chemical manipulation, and alter my film images through the process of double exposure.” 

With a passion for traveling and exploring new landscapes and cultures alike, Erin uses her camera as a tool to share the way she views the world with others.
